Reiki and Readings at The Ram & Rebirth! Hello everyone, I’m back on the horse and appearing at “A Very Peculiar General Store.” If you are like me and love crystals, oils, candles, oracle cards you could not find a better bookshop! They will carry The High-Flying Adventures of Captain Grief and on July 28th during the Jazz Fest! I will do readings, sell books and also there will be a tarot card reader available. It is an intimate space where I am now doing 15min Reiki sessions every Thursday!

Books For Brunch! For my Kickstarter Supporters whom I owe one and anyone else who wants to grab my $20 paperback this brunch is for you! Come and join me for a Sunday tuck-in and a book signing. If I have invited you I figured you might be on my list or interested in having a copy. Brunch will be one bill gratuity included so bring cash. My books are $20 so it can be cash or cheque. Broadway Book Launch! This is the mother load. On June 26th at a local Toronto Cafe (972 Danforth near Donlands station) at 7pm I will be springing my snotty, messy, unfiltered super hero alter ego on the world. There will be musical entertainment, my good friend Charlotte Moore Canadian Broadway singer will be gracing us with her voice, Sarah Steeves with play cello and Beth Hanson will tinkle away on the piano. The Bereaved Families of Ontario present at free online zoom Laughing in the Face of Death, in their “Grief Talk” series Thursday June 20th 2024. Kelly speaks to the use of creativity to cope with loss and the power of healing and learning to manage grief exactly the way you need. She will also read sections of her new memoir The High-Flying Adventures of Captain Grief introducing her Super Hero alter ego Captain Grief.

Spoken Lives I presented at the motivational speaking series Spoken Lives. My title was none other than The Merry Widow. There were a lot of jokes about death! Myself and four other amazing women shared a little of our stories, a little of our struggles and a little laughter! Dinner 6pm, presentation at 7pm. HERstoryCounts” Theatre production at Red Sandcastle Theatre. Played April 22nd-24th 2016. Was one of six other women performing an autobiographical monologue in support of telling women’s stories and addressing the lack of diversity in theatre, specifically for actresses of colour.
